Our Neighbourhood

Bolivar Heights is a diverse is a diverse, mixed-income, mixed-use community located in the City Centre area of the City of Surrey’s downtown core.

Bolivar Heights is bounded by the area of King George Highway to 144th to 136 Avenue. The area is home to home roughly 3,000 people and is home to 2 major parks, 2 elementary schools (Jamies Ardiel and Surrey Traditional School). Bolivar Heights has easy access to 2 major bridges (Patullo Bridge & Port Mann Bridge) and is walking distance to Gateway Skytrain.

Bolivar Heights has a mix of young and old and the neighbourhood is in the Central City OCP. The area is going through major changes with the addition of new multi-family developments and new revisions to what can be built here.

The Bolivar Heights Community Association (BCHA) is a non-profit, membership-driven societhat cares about our neighbourhood and brings neighbourhood concerns to City Hall, sometimes in partnership with other community community groups.
