Since 2009, with help from Surrey residents, the City of Surrey has been conducting a major review of its Official Community Plan (OCP). This review has involved consultation with many stakeholders, agencies, and community groups. As a result of that consultation, the City has created draft policies that are now being reviewed by internal City staff, external government agencies, Surrey advisory committees, and members of active community associations. This policy review process represents the beginning of the last phase of consultation for the preparation of Surrey’s OCP.
As a stakeholder to Surrey’s OCP process, you are invited to help us formalize these draft policies that will then be carried forward to City Council as Surrey’s draft Official Community Plan.
