Public Art Project

The city plans to develop a public art display along Perterson Hill adjacent to the Sky Train guideway.
The information regarding this follows:

This is a Call for Expressions of Interest (EOI) seeking a professional artist or artist team for an illuminated public art project on a prominent thoroughfare into the City.  This project is one of ten municipal
Necklace Projects being developed across Metro Vancouver.
 
PROJECT VISION 
Exceptional in the day and at night, each work will be integral to its selected
site in each municipality. 
 
BUDGET
The project budget is $75,000, inclusive of all costs, including artist fees, design, materials, insurance, structural and electrical engineering, fabrication, delivery, installation, travel and taxes.   
 
ELIGIBILITY 
This call is open to all professional artists and artist teams. Expressions of Interest submissions: 4:00 PM, April 14, 2010
 
SELECTION PROCESS
Step 1
A Selection panel of art and design professionals and community representatives will review your submission and select up to fie artists or artist teams for a
shortlist. Step 1 selection April 19, 2010.
