I have spoken to Ann and Al a bit more about the sewer plans-Ann and Al had a meeting on Nov 27 where more detail was presented about options considered (emails regarding that are below).
I have also spoken to Sheila R from Metro Vancouver (MV) who was identified to me at the Nov 20 meeting as our first go to person for this issue -there is not currently a date set for the follow up meeting and I got the distinct feeling that they are waiting to hear from us (perhaps time frame is not as urgent as they indicated). She asked that I send an email with some feedback and I have attached the initial email (see above) I sent to her but will follow up with more from the group after our Jan 15 meeting.
I have also spoken recently to Bini-she has some more info from SFPR re possibility of 116 route.
We have planned a meeting for Tuesday Jan 15 from 7-8 pm to discuss our position and to look at forming a committee to be responsible for representing the BHCA to MV for this issue. This meeting will be about the sewer (NOT THE TRAFFIC ON 115-that is a separate issue that may perhaps need a separate committee and meeting-MV has no responsibility and influence on that issue).
I would like to inform as many people as possible to allow input from everyone who wants to be involved. I have emailed all on the list of BHCA Board of Directors Bini provided to me and cc'd a few of my neighbours who I know were at the Nov 20 and may want to continue involvement-pls forward this message to individuals you think may want to be involved that I have missed.
I will phone Al and Evelyn as email is not effective for them
