We’re having our 80th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday June 22nd from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Grace Community Church 14618 110 Avenue, Surrey.
We’d like to know if you will be attending. We’re having a special speaker that we heard at the BC Council of Garden Clubs Annual Meeting in March. She was so informative and humorous that we knew you would enjoy hearing her speak.
We would like to know if you will be attending. As I will be away for the next while, would you please let Trudy know if you will make it ot the celebration? We want to know how many to prepare for the Celebration.
Trudy’s email is t_denton@shaw.ca
Thanks,
Karol

Hi there,

I organize Nature Work Party invasive removal events through the City of Surrey. This Saturday we will be at Bolivar Park removing invasive Himalayan blackberry from 10:00 AM -1:00 PM. We supply the tools, training and snacks! Be sure to wear durable clothing and close-toed shoes - blackberry is extremely prickly. If your group is interested in participating, please let me know approximately how many people to expect. For more information see our website ? Surrey Nature Work Parties

Let me know if you have any questions - we hope to see you there!

The Annual General Meeting of the Bolivar Heights Community Association will occur on Monday November 19 at 7 pm at the Masonic Lodge Hall located at 14042 Grosvenor Road. This is an "Open Meeting", meaning anyone who lives in Bolivar Heights is welcome to attend, and there will be some to discuss ideas/ issues from the floor. Please bring your ideas about how to make BH a better place to live, and also make us aware of any issues that your area may be having so we have some ability to all be aware and possibly support each other. We are planning to have a Guest Speaker come from the Surrey Historical Society (7:00 - 7:30 pm), who will speak for approximately 30 minutes. Please send any Agenda Items and an approximate amount of time needed to introduce/ discuss to Mark Styles at markstyles11@gmail.com. Please invite your neighbours to this event. A poster will soon be attached to this posting to share. The BHCA Executive is looking for new members to join our Executive Board, please come and join us for our AGM which normally happens just after the "Open Meeting".

We look forward to seeing everyone from Bolivar Heights November 19!
