Hi there!
I hope you have had a great summer and are ready for something different to start off the fall season.
The Downtown Surrey BIA has cooked up another event and we want YOU to get a taste of it-literally! On Tuesday, September 9th the DSBIA will be hosting a new event, The Long Long Table: A Community Affair.
BUT WHAT EXACTLY IS THE LONG, LONG TABLE?
The Long, Long Table is a unique event that invites 500 people who live, work, and learn in Surrey to sit at the same dinner table and share a five course meal together. Here, citizens who would not normally
interact with one another find themselves sharing experiences and getting to know one another, making it a “friendraiser” rather than a fundraiser.
On September 9th, sit at the elegantly decorated long, long table and get to know those around you. All guests will be served a delicious international five-course meal. Each of the five courses is inspired
by flavours of a different country, offering everything from steaming samosas to refreshing blueberry pies.
The Long, Long Table will be held at the new City Hall Plaza (13450 104 Avenue) on September 9th. It will begin with a networking portion at 4:30pm with dinner being served at 5:45pm.

Tickets are available online at www.SurreyLLT.Eventbrite.com. They can also be purchased for cash only, at the Downtown Surrey BIA office located at Suite 330-10362 King George Blvd. Tickets are available for only $35 plus GST. Or, if you are planning to buy tickets for your whole staff or organization, we would be happy to invoice you – just send me an email as soon as possible.
